Twin Star

Type: Aircraft
Sub Type: Electric
Level: Intermediate
Price: £64.99

Flight Training is available on this Aircraft.

Designed for intermediate pilots or pilots moving up from Rudder / Elevator aircraft such as the Easy Star. This aircraft is designed for "Full-House" operation, i.e. four channels (rudder, elevator ailerons and throttle / motor). The Twin Star features simple assembly from the extremely durable Elapor foam, assembly takes approximately 8-10 hours.

The kit is supplied complete with two powerful 400 class motor and propellers which can be easily replaced with more powerful 480's or even brushless motors as required. For ease of transportation the wing can be removed in a few minutes.

With a speed range of 20 - 80 mph this aircraft needs a large field if it is to be flown successfully.

The Twin Star has been extensively flown by West Wales Models and is used as our intermediate Electric Training aircraft. It is easy to fly and stable in flight, this aircraft can perform most manoeuvres (loops, rolls etc). Fitment of 480 motors is a worthwhile upgrade as it gives a substantial increase in performance.

This aircraft flies superbly and really sound the part with it's twin engines purring away, it excels in low passes and is very pleasurable to fly even for the more experienced pilot.

In our view the Twin Star is one of the best "full -house" intermediate Electric aircraft on which to improve your flying skills or just to enjoy hassle free twin engine flight.
