The Toplight Mamba is an electric powered glider / slope soarer of tail-less design, which is capable of extreme performance.
The aircraft consists of a glass fibre fuselage with a snubbed nose to allow installation of a 600 sized motor, the wing itself being constructed from a 100% Carbon / Kelvar mix.
The quality and airfoil complexity of these wings has to be seen to be believed! This wing is most certainly one of the most complex designs we have ever seen.
The wings are retained on the aircraft by two counter-sunk screws, which are located adjacent to the dense carbon weave centre spar.
As we fly these ourselves, we can certainly vouch for the smile inducing performance.
